and layout – most film posters use the most interesting, and dramatic elements
of the film in the poster – to attract the audience’s attention.
Genre –
One of the aims of the film poster is to convey the genre of the film, and what
it is roughly about. This makes the audience decide if it is their sort of
film, and therefore, whether they want watch it or not.
