Key features –
Central image – catches the reader’s eye and immediately tells them what is being advertised. This is usually the product, or something directly relating to the product)

Bold lettering/ lettering that stands out – This is use to catch the readers eye, so that the advert is not overlooked. The title or name of the product is usually in bold. This also makes the product more memorable

Colour scheme – the colour scheme is very important for advertising – the right colour scheme attracts the right audience e.g a bright colour scheme would attract the attention of younger ages, whereas a more subtle, and calm colour scheme might attract the attention of older readers.



Catchy slogan – the use of a slogan makes the product more memorable, so that the reader does not instantly forget it. This also indicates the purpose of the product, and can be eye-catching for the reader.
